15 year old boy rescues two of the abducted girls

A 15-year-old boy named Baba Goni was part of a vigilante group who was able rescue two of the abducted Chibok girls who were raped, beaten and left to die in the thick bush. The youngster, Baba. Goni was once abducted and lived with Boko Haram for 2 years but later joined the vigilante group after his escape and with his knowledge of the Boko Haram sect , they have been able to record a good amount of success against the Islamic group. The girls were discovered during a rescue mission for the entire chibok girls who were kidnapped. Their faces bleeding intensely, their school uniforms ripped from different angles and covered in dirt, the two teenage girls were tied to trees with thier wrists bound with ropes and left in a clearing in the fierce bush to die by Islamist terror group Boko Haram. They were lucky to be alive after being molested, brutalised and left at the mercy of the scorching sun. According to Baba Goni," They were seated on the ground at the base of the trees, their legs stretched out in front of them – they were hardly conscious" Baba, also acted as a guide for one of the many vigilante teams tasked with searching for the chibok schoolgirls abducted from their school last month by Boko Haram. The horrific scene he and his comrades encountered, a week after the kidnap early on April 15, was in thorn bush near the village of Ba’ale, an hour’s drive from Chibok. It was still two weeks before social media campaigns and protests would prick the Western world’s conscience over the abduction. In the days following their disappearance, local groups such as Baba Goni's vigilante group , scouring the forests in a convoy of Toyota pick-up trucks, were the girls’ only hope. But hope had already run out for some of the hostages, according to Baba, when he and his comrades spoke to the terrified inhabitants of the village where Boko Haram had pitched camp with their captives for three days following the kidnap. The chilling account he received from the villagers, though unconfirmed by official sources, represents the very worst fears of the families of the kidnapped girls who were still missing. They told him that four of the girls had been shot by their captors for being stubborn and unco-operative. They had been hurriedly buried before the kidnappers moved on. According to Baba Goni, "Everyone we spoke to was full of fear. They didn’t want to come out of their homes. They didn’t want to show us the graves. They just pointed up a track" The small rural village, halfway between Chibok and Damboa in the besieged state of Borno in the northeastern part of Nigeria , had been helpless to stop the Boko Haram as it swept through on trucks loaded with schoolgirls they had taken at gunpoint before burning down their school. As they went further up the track, Baba Goni and his fellow vigilantes found the two girls. Baba, who was the youngest of the group, stayed back as his friends took charge. He said, "They used my knife to cut through the ropes, I heard the girls crying and telling the others that they had been raped, then just left there. They had been with the other girls from Chibok, all kidnapped from the school in the thick of the night by armed men in army uniforms. Baba went on by saying,"We couldn’t do much for them. They didn’t want to talk to any men. All we could do was to get them into a vehicle and drive them to the security police at Damboa. They didn’t talk, they just held on to each other and cried" As for the youngster, Baba Goni , a peasant farmer’s son who has never been out of rural Borno, it was shocking to see young girls raped and brutalised by the heartless terrorists but his own life had been full of sorrow and he told how he had seen much worse than what the girls had suffered. His time with the terrorists, his uncle who had been murdered in cold blood by Boko Haram members, his family he wasn't sure of seeing again are all memories that has haunted him all this while but these are also responsible for turning him into a patriot who has decided to dedicate his life to fighting for his people in a bid to end the senseless killing of the notorious Boko Haram. Super Eagles midfielder, Onazi, escapes death

Super Eagles midfielder , Ogenyi Onazi narrowly escaped death as he was fortunate enough to have avoided last week’s bombings in Jos, Plateau State. The unexpected bomb blasts which occurred at a crowded bus terminal and market took the lives of at least 118 people. Ogenyi, who was born in Jos, had just left the Jos Main Market last Tuesday, when the first blast occurred. In his own words, he said: “I am very lucky, it's just by the grace of God.” Ogenyi Onazi, in preparation for the friendly with Scotland was psychologically depressed as he found it difficult to erase the memory of that day. He told BBC Sport: “It was just like an ordinary day. Happy faces and friendly warmth that makes you feel happy to be back home. “We had gone to the railway market to get something. I think it was 15 minutes later when we heard the loud blast from the place. And suddenly, people were just running. “There was chaos and pandemonium. There was smoke, I was confused, lost and just wondered what had happened. I had no idea what was going on and it was scary. “All my life I have never heard a bang or boom like that.” The second blast killed some of the rescue workers who had rushed to the scene, which was obscured by billows of black smoke. Some will say I should be happy to be alive but I just feel concerned about the security challenges in Jos and Nigeria as a country,” he said. “I was born and bred in a peaceful Jos. I may be fortunate enough to live outside the place right now, but I still have my family and friends who live in the city. “I always get worried when there are reports of terrible incidents there on a regular basis. It’s sad and depressing to live with this. “Personally, I think there is a need for a holistic approach to solving this problem once and for all. “Innocent people are dying and the government seriously needs to step up security across the country.” Thank God for the life of our player, i wonder how Nigerians would have felt if we had all woken up to hear that one of our own is dead.

What do you do when you're desperate for cash

Life is soo unpredictable and sometimes you end up in a situation where you have to come up with some quick cash. Maybe you have an overdue bill, or you owe someone money. Maybe you don't want to miss a once in a lifetime deal at your favorite store, or you need money to attend an upcoming event. Well, luckily there is an effective way to make some quick cash and you can literally make $100 or more depending on a couple factors. So, if you are desperate for cash you can buy low and sell high or sell your own stuff on Craigslist, eBay, and similar sites. You can even open up a garage sale if you have a lot of valuable things to sell. For example, you can go to Craigslist.com right now and search the "for sale" section where you will find a variety of items that people have put up for sale. You are bound to find some items that you can buy and sell for a higher price. If you don't have any money to spend on any items then you can sell what you already have. You probably have some old television sets, radios, cell phones, or anything else of value that you can sell right away. Make sure when you post your items up for sale you put a honest description of the condition of the item and take pictures if possible. You can literally post something on Craigslist and get a phone call or an email from a potential customer in minutes. Then you can arrange a meet-up location and collect your cash in exchange for your item. Another idea is to ask friends and family if they have anything of value and cut a 50/50 deal with them once you make a sale on anything they own. You can also ask your family and friends if they have any gigs or quick chores that you can do for some quick cash. If you make use of all these ideas, you will see that the money can add up rather quickly and you might even decide to turn this into a long-term business. There are people out there who are making a killing buying low and selling high. I've met people who drive around on garbage day, going through people's garbage to find valuable items that can be sold right away or items that just need some quick fixing and can be sold in the future. Craigslist and eBay are great places to get something sold very quickly. You can sell anything from old books, to electronics such as laptops and mp3 players. I know you have some junk you need to get rid of, so why let it collect dust when you could be collecting some quick cash? Want to make $100 a day online? Taobao, China's enormous online market place is one of the best places to find products at extremely low rates. While most of the people who buy from Taobao are residents of China themselves, there are many people living in other countries who also spend money on this marketplace. After all, most interactions take place in Chinese and there are many restrictions on payment methods. Traditional Chinese products: Chinese artisans create a wide variety of gorgeous products. For instance, you can buy tablecloth sets, wall hangings, lampshades etc. made of silk. Jewelry, teapots and objets d'art made of enamel are also greatly appreciated in different parts of the world. There is also immense demand for traditional Chinese medicine. 2. Products that require a lot of labor to create: Chinese manufacturers have an advantage over companies in other countries in that they have access to a cheap and well trained workforce. As a result, it is possible to buy garments, sportswear, accessories, gift items and the like at very cheap prices. Chinese manufacturers also make cell phone accessories and a wide range of electronic products at very low prices. 3. Factory surplus products: Since China is a manufacturing power house, you can use Taobao to look for products that haven't been bought by buyers for some reason such as a problem with export documents. In fact, you can pick up high quality products at really low rates this way. If you have a business of your own then Taobao can be a really good source of products to sell, particularly since you can get goods at very low prices on this marketplace.
