Anita Oyakhilome Files For Divorce

Christ Embassy has ironically been put in the limelight due to official confirmation that the wife of the General Overseer of Christ Embassy , Anita Oyakhilome has filled for a divorce in a British court on the grounds that her husband, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome  has exhibited unreasonable behaviour and is guilty of adultery.

 The divorce, with Fit No FD14D01650 was authorized on the 9th of April with numerous charges outlined against her husband, Chris. Several Efforts have already been made to get the couple back together but they have all proved futile.

 Undoubtedly, the couple have established a name for thier selves by being the owners of one of the biggest and well know churches in Nigeria and most likely, the continent. Thier marriage has produced two teenage daughters, Sharon and Charlyn Oyakhilome and this scenario, if not tackled appropriately can send out bad signals to people who look up to pastor  Oyakhilome and his wife as role models.

According to a source in his ministry, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome , has denied all allegations of adultery and is convinced that his beloved wife is being influenced by "bad company" who's intent is to destroy thier marriage. On the other hand, reports have stated that Pastor Chris has accused Anita of trying to seize authority from her senior advocates in the church. 

 Statements released suggest that Pastor Chris has been doing everything possible to avoid divorce but the situation could not be helped. Members of the church have also confirmed that the pastor had been hoping to reestablishe cordial relations with Anita but was left with no other choice than to accept the papers after he was  cornered by attorneys in his resort in London. 

The marriage will effectively be terminated by the decree and is set to be released in a matter of time while a legal contact that will regulate the divorce will be agreed upon by the attorneys of both parties.

Ebola Outbreak In Port Harcourt

An unidentified doctor in Port Harcourt  was reported to have died from the deadly Ebola virus on Friday 22nd August 2014.

According to investigations, the doctor was treating a diplomat who was a primary contact to the Liberian - American, Patrick Sawyer. After avoiding being quarantined, the unamed diplomat immediately flew into Port Harcourt where he became ill.

He was secretly being treated for the Ebola Virus in a hotel. Unfortunately, the doctor who was saddled with the task of taking care of  him was infected and has been confirmed dead.

The doctor, father of a 3-month-old baby, infected his wife who is presently being quarantined alongside more than 70 others.   

It has also been confirmed that his hospital" Good Health Hospital " has been shut down with the hotel that hosted the infected diplomat.

Further investigations showed that the doctor organised a naming ceremony for his baby before he died. The ceremony was host to a large number of people which has further sparked fears of the possible outbreak in Port Harcourt.

The Rivers State Government is presently trying it's best to contain the situation and prevent any outbreak. An isolation Centre Had already been made available before this event occurred which has sent out a positive impact that the state is fully prepared prepared in case of any possible outbreak in the nearest future.

9-year-old girl kill shooting instructor accidentally

Tragedy struck when a 9-year-old girl, learning to fire an automatic gun accidentally shot and killed her shooting instructor at a shooting range in Dolan Springs.

The incident occurred when the little girl shot the weapon in "fully automatic mode" and due to her inexperience and weak wrist, she lost control. The gun tilted over her left shoulder, killing the instructor who was standing beside her.

The instructor, 39-year-old Charles Vacca, received multiple shoots to the head and was airlifted to a medical centre in Las Vegas where he was confirmed dead later that night.

During investigations, the Police identified the weapon as an Uzi, (An Israeli-made submachine-gun) wasn't the first fatal accident involving a child and an Uzi.

The Tragic scenario brought back sad memories when in 2008, an 8-year-old boy accidentally shot himself with a micro Uzi during a gun show.

Britain Records First Case Of Ebola

British Health worker, William Pooley has been noted as the first British citizen to be infected with the deadly Ebola virus.

Pooley was a volunteer nurse who was exposed to the virus while working in Sierra Leone at Keneme Government hospital and was flown into London on Sunday via a Military plane.

Presently, he is being treated with the experimental Zmapp drug in an isolation unit at Royal Free Hospital, London.

Dr. Mike Jacobs who is a consultant and clinical lead in infectious diseases in the Royal Free Hospital confirmed that Pooley has already begun taking  his Zmapp dosage but the outcome at the end is still unknown.

"We have had an opportunity to give him the Zmapp treatment. It is an experimental medicine, we made it clear in our discussion with him." said Dr. Mike Jacobs.

"We are giving him the very best care possible, however the next few days will be crucial " He added.

William Pooley, 29 , had been working as a volunteer at a hospice in Freetown but requested to be moved to keneme after hearing that patients were being abandoned when health workers died from the virus.

Camerounian Player Killed By Fans

Cameron born player, Albert Ebosse was confirmed dead after he was hit by an object thrown from the crowd during a match in the Algerian Championship.

The Tragic event occurred When his team, JS Kabylie lost 2-1 to their opponents, USM Alger which sparked off violent behaviours from the JS Kabylie supporters. It wasn't long before their anger engulfed them and they started throwing objects at thier club players.

Unfortunately, the stadium was still under some form of construction with rocks lying around. Different shapes and sizes of rocks where rained on  the players and it didn't take long for the star man of the team, Albert Ebosse to be  hit.

 Ironically, Ebosse who was just 24 years old was the top goal scorer in the Algerian league last season and was even the one who got the only goal for his team in their 2-1 defeat against USM Alger. He was a young player with a bright future ahead, but the only thing that stood in his way was the flying object that snuffed his life away.

Prior to the incident, Algeria was among  the front line countries to host the 2015 African Cup Of Nations but the level of violence in their football, including this one might cost them this hosting opportunity.

In 2012 a policeman was reportedly killed during a football match in Algeria, not long after that,  45 people were injured after fans violently marched into a stadium.

According to FIFA president, Sepp Blatter on twitter ,"Intolerable that a fan causes a players death. Stop the violence. My emotional thoughts go out to Albert Ebosse's family. R.I.P "

A lot of Algerians has taken to social media to render apologise due to the feeling of guilt, Some are even suggesting that the league be boycotted.

Presently, the  FAF have decided to suspend the Algerian league and. Is also planning to expel the club at fault from all competitions.

Rapper turns Terrorist

Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, 24, AKA L Jinny or Lyricist Jinn has been suspectd to be one of the jihadists involved in the beheading of US journalist, James Foley.

L Jinny practiced music at home in London, where his rising music career saw him appear in videos and have his singles played on BBC Radio in 2012.
Early this year, he posted a picture of himself holding a severed head which further increased his familiarity, negatively.

The despicable picture, believed to have been taken in the Isis stronghold of Raqqa, was captioned: “Chillin’ with my homie or what’s left of him.”

According to reports, he travelled to the country last year from west London, where he lived with his mother and five siblings.

His father Adel Abdul Bary, an Egyptian refugee, believed to be one of Osama Bin Laden’s closes lieutenants, was extradited from Britain to the United States on charges of terrorism in 2012 for his alleged roles in the bombings of two US embassies in east Africa in 1998.

In some of his songs put online in 2012, L Jinny makes reference violence, drug use and life on a council estate and further talks about the threat of his family being deported to Egypt.

They have both been linked the to a group of British jihadists known as “The Beatles”, including a man named "John" who beheaded the US journalist, Foley.

Falconets Loose again

Again!!, Nigeria’s Falconets lost to Germany in the U-20 Women's World cup final which took place on Sunday 24th August 2014 in Montreal, Canada.

90 minutes wasn't enough to decide a winner of the match which had to be taken to extra time. Lena Petermann was the heroine for the German side as she scored in the 8th minute of extra time to seal the game, making it the third time Germany will be winning this competition.

Although the girls lost the game, Falconet forward Asisat Oshoala was voted the Most Valuable player at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Womens World Cup and also claimed the Golden Boot award after scoring seven goals; the highest at the end of the tournament.

Mariah and Nick, living seperately

An annonymous source has told People Magazine that Singer, Mariah Carey, 45 and her husband Nick Cannon, 33 have hit a rough patch in their six-year marriage.

 According to the source, "They've been living apart for months," He's been staying in hotels." The couple spent this summer's Mother's and Father's day together with their 3-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan despite their differences.

Mariah and Nick got married in a secret ceremony in 2008 after about 2 months of dating. They went a step further by renewing their vows in 2013 with a fairy-tale-themed bash at Disneyland.

 Mariah was previously married to music egghead, Tommy Mottola for five years which ended in 1998.

American Doctor Recovers from Ebola

According to reports, one of the two American aid workers, Dr. Kent Brantly who was infected with the deadly Ebola virus will be discharged on Thursday from a hospital in Atlanta.

 In line with the expected discharge, a news conference will also be held on Thursday morning by the management of Emory University Hospital.

 According to Alison Geist, a spokeswoman for Samaritan's Purse, she did not know the exact time Dr. Kent Brantly would be released but assured everyone that it would be on Thursday.

Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan's Purse, also went ahead to announce the recovery of Dr. Brantly. He said in his statement, "Today I join all of our Samaritan's Purse team around the world in giving thanks to God as we celebrate Dr. Kent Brantly's recovery from Ebola and release from the hospital,".

 Nancy Writebol Brantly and Nancy Writebol were infected with the disease while working at a missionary clinic outside Liberia's capital. In response to the situation, they were flown back to the United States were they were treated in an isolation centre with experiment drugs.

 Don't forget, Ebola is spread only through direct contact with bodily fluids e.g sweat, blood, semen etc of infected people experiencing symptoms.

Bitter Kola, now the hope against Ebola

More than 15 years after initial laboratory tests showed bitter kola had antiviral effects that could work against Ebola virus, a research group has opted to push futher beyond the test tube stage. 

The Treatment Research Group for Ebola Disease comes after renewed interest in a 1999 work by Maurice Iwu, a professor of ethnophamacology, which claimed certain chemicals called flavinoids contained in bitter kola had anti-viral properties.

Research by Iwu, who is in the group, focused on tests in-vitro (in test tubes in laboratories), but never made it to in-vivo (human testing) and remained inconclusive.
But it has regained interest among Nigeria’s scientific community in the wake of Ebola—a virus similar to the flu-causing viruses that bitter kola extracts work against.
“In-vitro tests showed some activity against the virus,” said health minister Onyebuchi Chukwu.

But he said there’s been “no scientific evidence that the use of bitter kola will also prevent or cure Ebola.”
The research group, co-chaired by the heads of pharmaceutical and medical research, will take in and hope to verify claims relating to the use of bitter kola to treat diseases.

The plant is among local remedies many have taken to treat ailments as flu.
The group will also investigate the claims contained in Iwu’s uncompleted work from 1999, in addition to related research into Ebola and bitter kola around the world.
Over time, it will advise government on Ebola but its research will have ‘no limit,” said Chukwu.

“They will continue [research] until they produce several results.”
The group will approach its research into Ebola from three angles, said Dr co-chair Karniyus Gamaniel, director-general of National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development Council.

It will hope to “detect and monitor” how the virus resolves, monitor “clinical manifestations” along with how conditions resolve, and check on immunity—the ability of the body to resist the effect of the virus.
“We think we are capable. We have the competent virology lab and virology staff to do this,” Gamaniel said.

Co-chair Dr Innocent Ujah, director-general of Nigeria Institute for Medical Research, said the group, which went into its first meeting immediately after it was inaugurated in Abuja, will be briefing the country on its progress in time.

Missing Marines wife found dead

The body of Erin Corwin was found Saturday in a mine shaft located outside Joshua Tree National Park, officials say. 

Through the use of dental records, authorities were able to identify the 19-year-old woman who went missing in June. They declined to release the manner of death. 

"We were determined to find Erin Corwin and return her remains to her family," Capt. Dale Mondary of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department tells PEOPLE. 

Hours after her body was identified, law enforcement issued an arrest warrant for her neighbor and alleged lover Christopher Lee. He is being held in Anchorage, Alaska, and awaiting extradition to Twentynine Palms, California, where Corwin lived with her husband, U.S. Marine Cpl. Jon Corwin. 

With assistance from the FBI, officials from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department found the body about 140 feet inside a mine shaft. Due to the depth and air quality of the mine shaft, Corwin's body was not recovered until 6:30 p.m. the following day. Lee was arrested at 10 p.m. 

Authorities have not confirmed whether Corwin, who would have turned 20 in July, was pregnant at the time of her death. Officials say that there is "potential for more arrests," adding that other evidence was found in the shaft. 

Corwin was last seen leaving her house around 7 a.m. on June 28 after telling her husband she was headed to Joshua Tree to find activities to do with her mother during an upcoming visit. She had also planned to surprise her mom with the news that she was two months pregnant. 

"Jon kept trying to call her, and figured there was no cell service at the park," Jon's mother, Sheila Braden, has said "By the evening, he started to get worried and started calling around." Officials found her blue 2013 Toyota Corolla abandoned about two miles from the military base, Braden said. 

20 year old boy, crowned King of his community

The first son of the late Obi of Issele-Ukwu, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nduka Ezeagwuna, 20 years old, has been crowned by the community’s kingmakers.

 Nduka who is a 300 level Chemical Engineering student of the University of Ibadan, is however, said to be regretting his inability to celebrate with his father, Henry Ezeagwuna, who was due to celebrate his birthday on August 28, 2014.

 The Obi , who died in an auto crash along with Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s aide Sunny Ofili, at the weekend, was already distributing invitation cards for the birthday ceremony to well wishers before the tragic accident.

The accident victims were burnt to death, as the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) driven by the monarch burst into flames after hitting a truck laden with granite stones (Edo FUG 238 XA) from the rear at Otulu Junction on the Benin-Asaba- Onitsha expressway.

 Eyewitness account said following the accident, the rear tyros of the truck were deflated and the SUV burnt beyond recognition.    

 Sunny Ofili, on his part, was said to have been assured by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the monarch and delegates alike of representing Aniocha North state constituency in 2015, just as everything has been provided by the decease to clinch the position.

Justin Bieber enrolles in "Anger Management Classes "

It has been officially confirmed that the star artist, Justin Bieber, will have to enroll in ' Anger Management Classes' after a plea deal in his Miami D.U.I case.

 CNN reported that Bieber made a $50,000 donation to the “Our Kids” charity, agreed to get 12 hours of private anger-management counseling and attend a program that teaches about the impact of drinking and driving on victims as part of the plea deal.

 In exchange, a judge accepted Beiber’s guilty plea to misdemeanor counts of careless driving and resisting arrest during an incident in January where police said they suspected the star was drunk after they stopped him for speeding down a residential Miami Beach street.

Though the singer did not have to appear in court on Wednesday, Justin’s lawyers announced a deal with prosecutors to spare the star any jail time in the case.

 CNN also noted that despite the fact that Bieber’s never been charged with a felony crime or drug charge and never been in rehab, Altfield compared him to Robert Downey Jr., who struggled with substance abuse and wild behavior in his younger days. Altfield said Downey got into trouble, “because of the drugs, because of the alcohol, because of the fame, because of all of the pressures that he had on a daily basis and look at what he’s done with his life.

 He turned himself around… Here is someone [Bieber] who is young. His whole life is ahead of him and he just hopefully will get the message. He will grow up. He will use all of his talents positively for young persons.”

The lead prosecutor in the case told the network in a written statement that the “strengths and weaknesses” of the case let both sides to agree to a plea deal. “The ultimate purpose of the Miami Beach Police Department’s initial traffic stop was to end some rash juvenile type conduct before a tragedy occurred,” said State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle.

“The intervention and counseling parts of the plea should provide a pathway toward adult responsibility.”

 As you might recall, in January, Miami Beach police arrested Bieber and friend Khalil Sharieff after the pair allegedly drag-raced their rented cars down a residential street that had been blocked off by the singer’s security detail.

 During interrogation, Bieber told police that he had been smoking marijuana and had taken prescription medication that day, with a urine screen testing positive for pot and Xanax.

Though he was not charged with drag racing, police said the sound of high-end vehicles revving their engines from 0-40 m.p.h. on a residential street at 4 a.m. got their attention.

 When they pulled Bieber’s rented Lambo over, officers said they smelled alcohol and a test showed just trace amounts in Justin’s system.

They arrested him on suspicion of D.U.I, resisting arrest without violence (reportedly because he refused to take his hands out of his pockets as requested by police) and driving on a Georgia license that expired six months earlier.

 Last month, Bieber pleaded no contest to egging a neighbor’s California home. In that case, Justin avoided potential jail time and felony charges by agreeing to two years of probation and enrollment in an anger-management class, as well as five days of community service and $80,900 in restitution.

Boko Haram members kidnap young boys in North Nigeria

Heavily armed men who are suspected to be Boko Haram members abducted dozens of boys and men from a village, Doron Baga, in northeast Nigeria.

 After loading them onto trucks and driving them off more 97 people have not been accounted for. Several witnesses who fled after Sunday's raid on Doron Baga, a sandy fishing village near the shores of Lake Chad, said militants clothed in military and police uniforms had burned several houses.

 According to an eyewitness, Halima Adamu, "They left no men or boys in the place; only young children, girls and women. They were shouting ,'Allah Akbar' (God is greatest), shooting sporadically. There was confusion everywhere. 

 "They started packing our men and boys into their vehicles, threatening to shoot whoever disobey them. Everybody was scared."

C.A.S upholds Suarez's ban

Reports state that the Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez's four-month playing ban for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini has been upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) although he will be allowed train with his new club Barcelona.

 CAS said in a statement that it had removed the clause which banned the 27-year-old from "any football-related activity" following an appeal by the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) on Suarez's behalf.

 The Barca player remains ineligible to play in official matches during the four-month period, and his nine-game international ban also stays in force following the notorious incident during the World Cup group game on June 24 which Uruguay won 1-0.

However, a spokesman for soccer's world governing body Fifa said he could play in friendly internationals for club and country.This could allow him to make his Barcelona debut against Mexican side Leon on Monday if selected.

 "The sanctions imposed on the player by Fifa have been generally confirmed," CAS said in a statement. "However, the 4-month suspension will apply to official matches only and no longer to other football-related activities (such as training, promotional activities and administrative matters)."

 "It has however considered that the stadium ban and the ban from "any football-related activity" were excessive given that such measures are not appropriate to sanction the offence committed by the player and would still have an impact on his activity after the end of the suspension.

" Suarez's legal team said they had successfully argued that Fifa had misapplied its own rules when considering the case and the sanction it imposed on other football-related activities was disproportionate.

"As a result, Suarez is now permitted to train and attend matches with his Barcelona team mates in preparation for the new season," his lawyers said in a statement.

 Barcelona said in a statement that the forward would train with the La Liga club on Friday and will be presented as a Barca player at the Nou Camp on Monday when they play Leon.

 AUF president Wilmar Valdez said in a statement,"I expected something different, although not much. CAS is a totally independent tribunal and this is to do with the way people see things, it's a cultural matter. The way we live football in South America is different to Europe.

"For us there are things which are normal and which deserve sanctions, but not such harsh ones. "The training is something positive because not being able to train was too tough.

 "It was shown in the World Cup, in the matches Suarez did not play in, that he is a fundamental player. We will have to work to look for the appropriate alternatives.

" According to AUF lawyer Daniel Cravo : "We don't think it was the worst behaviour of a player in a World Cup. We have seen worse situations and the players haven't been sanctioned in that level."


Suarez went to CAS, which conducted a hearing on the matter last Friday, after losing a first appeal at Fifa. A Liverpool player at the time of the biting incident, Suarez has since joined Barcelona for a fee reported to be €81 million by local media.

  Banned twice before for biting, Suarez initially denied sinking his teeth into Chiellini but photographs of marks on the Italian defender's shoulder were damning.

 Suarez initially claimed that he had been the victim, falling to the ground and clutching his teeth after the players clashed. He eventually accepted responsibility and apologised for the incident one week later, days after Fifa had imposed the ban.

These were the words of Suarez in a statement on Twitter,"The truth is that my colleague Giorgio Chiellini suffered the physical result of a bite in the collision he suffered with me,"

 "For this: I deeply regret what happened; I apologise to Giorgio Chiellini and the entire football family; I vow to the public that there will never again be another incident like (that),

" Fifa later explained Suarez was given a heavy punishment partly because he had twice before been banned for biting and because he had shown no remorse at the time.

FIFPro suggested that part of the ban should be made conditional and should include an obligation for Suarez to seek treatment.

 The ban means he will not be able to make his Barcelona debut until the end of October. He will also miss next year's Copa America in Chile, when Uruguay have their next competitive matches.

 Uruguay will play a minimum of three and maximum of six matches at the Copa, meaning Suarez will also miss between two and five matches of the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Keshi Rejects new contract

It has been confirmed that, former coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi has rejected the contract offered to him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to continue as head coach of the Super Eagles. On Tuesday, members of the NFF unanimously agreed that “having finalized the fresh contract with Mr Stephen Keshi, for him to continue as head coach of Super Eagles, and having forwarded same to Mr Keshi, the Executive Committee expects the new contract to be signed by the NFF and Mr Keshi in a matter of days.

That contract has now been rejected by Keshi who is asking for a bigger salary than N10 million (about $62,000 USD) offered by the NFF.

 Keshi was previously paid N5 million (about$31,000 USD) before his contract ran out after the 2014 Fifa World Cup. Despite the 100% increase in remuneration, Keshi is still not convinced it is the right amount for him to accept if he would continue in the saddle as Nigeria trainer.

 According to Keshi's spokesman, Emma Addo, “Keshi is bigger than N10 million. He is not a N5 million or N10 million coach. A club in Angola is ready to offer him N18 million (about $111,000 USD) million a month,”

 Keshi is currently away on holidays but with Nigeria’s next competitive game, a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda on September 6 less than a month away, Addo insisted that the ball is now in the court of the NFF. 

“It has to be a give-and-take arrangement, we would not sign any contract that does not take care of his interest. “I want to stress that he (Keshi) will not be intimidated or blackmailed into accepting the contract as proposed by the federation. “The federation has always been aware of the September 6th qualifying match; this is no excuse to rush our client into signing a contract that he (has) serious objections about certain parts. “We hope both sides will be able to reach common grounds on the issues that our client has reservations about,” he said.

 Keshi replaced Samson Siasia as Super Eagles coach in 2011 and led Nigeria to the Africa Nations Cup title in South Africa in 2013. He also led the Super Eagles to a place in the round of 16 at the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.

Quarantined nurse flees to Enugu

 A nurse, newly married, who was among the medical personals that treated the late Patrick Sawyer, disobeyed medical protocols and Left Lagos to the coal city, Enugu, to visit her husband and in the process, made contacts with 21 persons in the Coal City State.

 Nigeria’s Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, had on Wednesday disclosed that about 21 persons have been quarantined in the state. Briefing State House correspondents at the end of the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Goodluck Jonathan, said 198 persons are currently under watch by the Ministry of Health to contain further spread of the disease.

 He went on to say that among the 198 persons under surveillance, 177 of them are in Lagos, while 21 are in Enugu. He said: “All those who had primary contact have been quarantined.

 Secondary contacts have also been traced. So far the number of people that have been traced is 198. Out of this number, 177 are in Lagos and are being traced. Some are in quarantine, some are being monitored by health specialists.” 21 persons in Enugu are also being watched. Robin Williams committed suicide

Authorities in Marin County, California, have confirmed the cause of death was suicide by asphyxiation.

In a press conference held Tuesday by local law enforcement and the coroner's office in the San Francisco Bay area, authorities revealed that the Hollywood star hanged himself in his Tiburon, California, home. 

According to Lt. Keith Boyd, assistant deputy chief coroner of the Marin County Sheriff's Office, "He was found in his bedroom on Monday by his personal assistant before a 911 
call was placed at 11:55 a.m.

Williams was found um"clothed, slightly suspended in a seated position" and unresponsive with a belt around his neck, said Boyd, with the other end of the belt closed in the closet. His left wrist had several acute, superficial cuts, and a pocket knife was found nearby. 

Boyd continued, "William's assistant called 911 and "was distraught and indicated that it was an apparent suicide due to a hanging and that rigor mortis had set in," Williams was pronounced dead by firefighters at 12:02 p.m. 

Boyd declined to answer questions regarding whether a note was found or there were any signs of drugs or alcohol. The full forensic examination and toxicology results will be available in approximately two to six weeks, he said, with the final cause of death not available until then. 

Boyd also noted that the actor had been undergoing treatment for depression. 

Williams was last seen alive by his wife, Susan Schneider, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 10. She returned to the home soon after he was found. 

The actor, who most recently starred in the CBS sitcom The Crazy Ones , went into rehab in early July after battling alcohol and drug addiction throughout his life.

 The star went into rehab in early July after battling alcohol and drug addiction throughout his life.

 According to his wife, Susan Schneider,"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken,"

 She continued, "On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."

Military officers kill eachother over girl

On a Sunday morning, last week, it was reported that two military officers named Hilary and Sheu Abdullahi, fought each other to death at a popular night club over a girl.

After investigations, it was discovered that Hilary, a corporal in the Nigerian Army had gone to the club with his girlfriend who was dressed in a military uniform.

On seeing the lady dressed in a military uniform, the bouncers at the club stopped her and requested an explanation for dressing despite not being a military officer.

The scenario got heated up when Hilary in defense of his girlfriend, allegedly asked why they would question her in his presence and this caused tempers to flair.

The situation that broke the camels back was when Abdullahi, a naval officer who tried to settle the dispute slapped Hilary's girlfriend for insulting him.

The unfortunate incident was later confirmed by the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Lelma Kolle. According to him, two people died and he went futher to explain that they received a distress call from someone that there was a situation at the club and they instantly rushed to the scene. He also said that they were able to bring the situation under control and prevent further loss of lives but it was just unfortunate that by the time they got there, the two officers had died. But the police arrested two military officers in connection with the incident.
He added that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, and the corpses of the dead officers have been deposited in the mortuary.

 The first suggestion was to tell people that aloe very could cure Ebola, but we thought it would sound too ridiculous so we forgot about it.  Later that even an idea came to me (i now regret that i did it). I decided to send a BBM broadcast message to my friends, telling them that the Ministry of Health has asked everyone to bathe with salt and warm water and drink some of it. I sent the message 7? yesterday Later this midnight i started getting calls and messages that i should drink salt water and bath with it.

 All efforts to tell people that i was the one who started the joke failed. Only my friends who i mentioned earlier believed me. Even my mum called  me this morning, i did not know what to tell her.
 I am using this medium to beg you all to warn and tell everyone, before they drink salt and damage their health. Please dont be hash on me. I know this has gone out of hand. I never knew it will be this serious. Some have even added to the original message i sent.

Russian hackers break into 420,000 websites

According to a report published on tuesday, Russian hackers have stolen a total of 1.2 billion user names and passwords in a series of Internet frauds affecting 420,000 websites.

The identities of websites that were broken into weren't identified by The New York Times, which cited nondisclosure agreements that required Hold Security to keep some information confidential.

The reported break-ins are the latest incidents to raise doubts about the security measures that both big and small companies use to protect people's information online. Security experts believe those hackers will continue breaking into computer networks unless companies become more secure.

A security analyst at the research firm Gartner told The Times. "Companies that rely on usernames and passwords have to develop a sense of urgency about changing this," Avivah Litan"

The information security officer of Hold Security, told the newspaper that most of the sites hit by the Russian hackers are still vulnerable to further break-ins. Besides filching 1.2 billion online passwords, the hackers have also been able to get 500 million email addresses that could help them engineer other crimes.

According to the New York Times, little of the information stolen in the wave of attacks appears not to have been sold to other online crooks. Instead, the information is being used to send marketing pitches, schemes and other junk messages on social networks like Twitter.

Here's what you can do to keep your online accounts safe and your passwords strong:

• Make your password long. The recommended minimum is eight characters, but 14 is better and 25 is even better than that.

• Use combinations of letters and numbers, upper and lower case and symbols such as the exclamation mark. "PaSsWoRd!43" is far better than "password43."

• Avoid words that are in dictionaries, even if you add numbers and symbols. There are programs that can crack passwords by going through databases of known words. One trick is to add numbers in the middle of a word – as in "pas123swor456d" instead of "password123456."

• Substitute characters. For instance, use the number zero instead of the letter O, or replace the S with a dollar sign.

• Avoid easy-to-guess words, even if they aren't in the dictionary. You shouldn't use your name, company name or hometown. Avoid pets' and relatives' names and things that can be looked up, such as your birthday or ZIP code.

• Never reuse passwords on other accounts.

It has been confirmed by the minister of health that one of the doctors who was respinsible for attending to the Liberian, who recently died of Ebola in Nigeria, Patrick Sawyer, is now sick with the disease.

They were both in serious condition as of this morning, according to Samaritan's Purse.
