Hollywood's big time bachelor, George Clooney tied the knot with human-rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin on Saturday night in the city of Venice, Italy.
The wedding took place at the 'Aman Canal Grande Hotel', which was presided over by Clooney's close friend, Walter Veltroni, former mayor of Rome.The long awaited wedding was attended by families of the couple and close friends including Matt Damon, John Krasinski, Cindy Crawford and Oscar winning producer, Grant Heslov.
A crowd of people cheered as the couple and their guests as they sailed to the Aman hotel. The paparazzi and press was on alert in order not to miss a glimpse of the action throughout the entire ceremony.
At the beginning of their romance, George Clooney, 53 and Amal Alamuddin,36, maintained a low-key courtship until Clooney decided to blow the trumpet at a high-profile dinner on the 7th of September in Italy.The couple, before their wedding, took time off on romantic journeys including a trip to Africa.
